ABI mobilram

ABI MOBILRAM-System

Based on site experience ABI has re-designed the ABI MOBILRAM for even higher performance and safety. The new improved version features a stronger mast with even greater usable length. As option a docking system is available which allows the operator to change tools by a push of a button. Further new is a so called CAN-BUS control system with touch screen computer control panel. All control related joy sticks and elements are ergonomically designed and positioned for smooth operation. The engines fulfil the latest environmental standards.

Multifunctional

The leader mast is the key component on the ABI MOBILRAM-System which guides all attachments for common and extraordinary pile driving, extracting, augering and static pressing operations. Usable pile or auger length up to 25 m are available through the model range.

Low Set up Time

The set up times of an ABI MOBILRAM are very low with less than 30 minutes. To bring the unit back in transport configuration takes not longer. It is done in a one step operation. Vibrators and all other attachments are connected and disconnected quick and safe by the docking system or the traditional rapid change device.

High Mobility

The ABI MOBILRAM can be transported on a low-loading truck. For the transport position the leader mast is folded down to the rear. The transport width can be reduced using telescopic under carriage.

Attachment Drilling Systems

KA 140, KA 162 & KA 202

The KLEMM attachment systems KA 140, KA 162 and KA 202 can be used with any hydraulic excavator with a minimum weight of 16 t. The actual drilling functions are controlled from a portable radio remote control, although the setup of the drill mast is executed from the cabin of the excavator.

ROD HANDLING Systems

Handling system for casings and rods as an attachment for excavators with more than 5t weight
• Casing and rod max. usable length 3000 mm
(compare chart on page 3 for further details )
• Single drill rod max. usable length 4000 mm (compare chart on page 3 for further details )

With electro-hydraulic parallel control for:
• rotating
• tilting and
• clamping casing
• clamping inner rods

Hydraulic Drifters

Hydraulic drifters are the heart of a drill rig. More than 40 years of experience in the manufacturing of hydraulic drifters, consistent development and continuous quality control guarantee high performance and availability of these components.

Hydraulic drifters KD 1215R and KD 3428 are equipped with improved rotation and percussion units and also with a redesigned damping device. Reverse impulses are implied on the shank adapter through the damping device. This results in a faster retraction and breaking of the threads.

Rotary Heads

For all kinds of rotary drilling applications drilling rigs equipped with rotary heads are used. A variety of hydraulic rotary heads in different output ranges is available for different applications. Rotary heads are classified according to the maximum available torque.

The torque and the corresponding rotation speed of a rotary head can be changed for a constant power output of the drilling rig by use of hydraulic motors with a different oil flow capacity.

Using rotary heads equipped with drive motors with manual or electric shift, torque and rotation speed can additionally be changed by switching the motors from serial to parallel
or vice versa according to the requirements of the drill task. All rotary heads are equipped with a hollow shaft (with diameter range from 20 mm up to max.180 mm).

For special applications rotary heads with mandrel (SK) or floating spindle (F) are available.
