We are looking for new team members to fill the positions of Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic at Traxxon Foundation Equipment in Burnaby, BC. In this position you will be responsible for service, overhaul and support of all equipment under their control. The successful candidates will participate in training off-site, as well as onsite locally. They will then provide shop service and mobile service to our customer base in western Canada.

You will be accountable for:

• Inspecting equipment for proper performance and determining faults and malfunctions
• Adjusting equipment & repairing/replacing defective parts components or systems according to scope of work to restore equipment to original manufacture specifications
• Testing repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance
• Commissioning new equipment
• Completing accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists
• Staying current with industry, customer, product developments and technical best practices
• Complying with safety policies and identifying/reporting any unsafe work habits
• Maintaining hand tools and equipment to ensure safe operation

To qualify for this role you must have:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic or Year 3 and 4 apprentice
• Ability to work and troubleshoot independently.
• Willing and able to travel in Western Canada, and overseas if necessary
• Basic computer skills. Experience with an ERP or CMMS an asset.
• Ability to speak/read German is an asset.
• Maintain a valid drivers license

We are looking for new team members to fill the positions of Warehouse & Yard Assistant at Traxxon Foundation Equipment in Burnaby, BC. In this position you will be responsible for materials handling, shipping and receiving, including organizing, loading, offloading, storage of equipment and tools, and general yard and warehouse cleaning and maintenance. 

You will be accountable for:

• Assist with maintaining the yard and warehouse in an organized and neat manner
• Proactively communicate with Supervisors to ensure correct work area protocols are followed
• Assist in the yard & buildings to organize and keep tidy
• Help promote a work environment where the safety and health of all employees, subcontractors, and individuals on TFE sites is paramount
• Hold a keen interest for improving effectiveness and appearance of the warehouse
• Keep the warehouse tidy, ensuring product is clearly labelled and located
• Assist with inventory management
• Assist with pulling orders of materials and equipment from the yard and warehouse, as required
• Support mechanics with yard and warehouse activities including preparing and closing out work.
• Organize and process incoming inventory and outbound customer orders.
• Assist with building maintenance & yard maintenance including health and safety
• Assist with washing equipment and preparing for maintenance or delivery to customer

To qualify for this role you must have:

• Previous warehouse experience in material handling, including loading/unloading an asset
• Forklift License an asset
• Microsoft Office Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
