The KR 702-2 is the machine of choice amongst KLEMM drilling rigs where jobsites with confined conditions is concerned.


Particular attention was given to retaining the optimal engine power output, carrying capacity and flexibility of the machine even with its extremely compact physical dimensions. The KR 702-2 can be utilised in confined areas, it is possible
to maneuver the drill rig through door heights of 2000 mm and 750 mm width. Excellent stability in all drilling situations is achieved through the telescopic tracks extendable up to 1250 mm in conjunction with the two standard outriggers (jacks). Each crawler side as well as each outrigger can be moved individually.

KR 704-2E

With a minimal base carrier width of 750 mm and the option to use telescopic drill masts, the drilling rig is able to maneuver itself into buildings with narrow doorways and low ceiling heights. Specialist foundation engineering tasks, particularly micro piles and the underpinning of existing foundations using high-pressure injection columns, can therefore be performed, even under difficult conditions.

KR 709-3G

The development of the new KLEMM KR 709-3G reflects the exhaust and noise legislations around the world as well as the new European drilling safety standard EN 16228. The diesel engine from Volvo Penta has an output of 160 kW at 2,000 rpm and meets emission values according to US TIER 4f (or EU Stage 4) with the so-called “SCR-only” technology. The rig has a 45 l tank for DEF-fluid for operating the SCR catalyst.

The KR 801-3GS defines its own class of especially compact and at the same time universally applicable drilling rigs. The KR 801-3G defines its own class of especially compact and at the same time universally usable drilling rigs. The model with the denomination “K” for “long reach kinematic” offers a maximum reach capability to drill small and medium sized drill holes, above and under the set-up area of the drill rig. The capability to slew the boom up to 90° over the right hand crawler in combination with powerful hydraulic hammers (KD series) or rotary heads (KH series) makes the KR 801-3GK ideal for securing sloops and excavations with self-drilling anchors, or cased soil nails. Applications for inclined or vertical drill holes are covered by this unique kinematic which also allows for a 360° rotation of the mast carrier.

The drill rig KR 805-3G is the further development of the KR 805 series. The machine is powered by a Volvo-Penta diesel engine with 129 kW, certified to the latest exhaust regulation standards (EU stage 4 / EPA Tier 4 final). With a width of 2,3 m and a weight of approx. 15 t the rig is easy to transport by container or truck.

KR 806-3GS

The KR 806 series is the industry standard for anchoring bores. The latest development in this series, the KR 806-3GS drilling rig, redefines the most exacting standards in versatility, productivity, reliability, efficiency, ergonomics and safety. The rig is designed to be ideal for power-intensive double-head systems, hydraulic drifters or rotary heads. The drive train is based on a 160 kW diesel engine featuring SCR-only emission technology for emissions levels 4 (EU) or 4final (EPA). A 175 kW version compliant with emissions standard 5 (EU), including a particulate filter, will be available from Q4/2019. A special emissions standard 3A (EU) version is also available.

The KR 909 is a compact and powerful drilling rig. Through tried and tested KLEMM components, the rig is easily adaptable to varied tasks. Hydraulic Drifters

Hydraulic drifters are the heart of a drill rig. More than 40 years of experience in the manufacturing of hydraulic drifters, consistent development and continuous quality control guarantee high performance and availability of these components.

Hydraulic drifters KD 1215R and KD 3428 are equipped with improved rotation and percussion units and also with a redesigned damping device. Reverse impulses are implied on the shank adapter through the damping device. This results in a faster retraction and breaking of the threads.

Rotary Heads

For all kinds of rotary drilling applications drilling rigs equipped with rotary heads are used. A variety of hydraulic rotary heads in different output ranges is available for different applications. Rotary heads are classified according to the maximum available torque.


The torque and the corresponding rotation speed of a rotary head can be changed for a constant power output of the drilling rig by use of hydraulic motors with a different oil flow
capacity.


Using rotary heads equipped with drive motors with manual or electric shift, torque and rotation speed can additionally be changed by switching the motors from serial to parallel
or vice versa according to the requirements of the drill task. All rotary heads are equipped with a hollow shaft (with diameter range from 20 mm up to max.180 mm).


For special applications rotary heads with mandrel (SK) or floating spindle (F) are available.
