BAUER MAT Slurry Handling Systems, a branch company of BAUER Maschinen GmbH, together with Obermann MAT GmbH, develop and sell complete systems for mixing and separation of slurries, as well as centrifuges and pumps for all specialist foundation engineering requirements.
De-sanding plants are employed to remove soil particles in drilling muds and support slurries used in foundation engineering. They can be either water-bentonite, water-polymer, or water- cement and bentonite slurries. De-sanding plants have further applications in gravel pits, in the mining industry and in tunneling projects.
MAT Mixers are specifically designed to produce a flowable suspension from one or several fluids and one or several powder solids. Beside centrifugal, shear and cavitation forces caused by the mixing paddles, MAT Mixers utilize the turbulent kinetic f low energy that is generated by the pump to reach the best possible dispersion of the mixing components. This prevents the formation of solid accumulations and clusters and simultaneously results in a homogenous, optimally dispersed product. The MAT Mixing Technology can be used both for batch and continuous operation and is suitable f or low to highly viscous mix consistencies.
The Bauer Pumps BP 50 to BP 250 are standardly employed for charging various Bauer desilter units. They can additionally be applied in all fields of works which require centrifugal pumps. The pump units are provided with a protective frame and a base frame. They are powered by an electric motor and a V-belt. The overall unit can be control -led by a control box.
